Roy Bentley is a former NASCAR driver from Florence, SC. He competed in six Sprint Cup Series events in his career.

Bentley's debut came in 1950, when he competed in the inaugural race at Darlington. Starting 39th in the field of seventy-five, Bentley completed all but eighty-one laps in route to a resepectable 47th place finish.

Bentley did not return to the sport until 1953, when he competed at Raleigh. Starting positions in the field of forty-nine are unknown, but Bentley again had a midpack effort, finishing 31st.

Bentley's next race came in 1955, when he returned to Darlington for the first time in five years. It was yet another midpack effort the driver, starting 50th in the field and driving to 32nd.

Bentley's final three races all came in 1956, when he finished a career-high 139th place in points. This was largely due to a much better average finish than the years before. He recorded two top-twenties: a career-best 12th place finish at Spartanburg and a 19th place showing at Myrtle Beach. He ended his career by crashing to 55th at Darlington.
