Randy Bethea is a former NASCAR driver from Newport, TN. He competed in one Sprint Cup event in his career. In came in 1975, when Bethea competed in the 600-mile spring event at Charlotte. Driving a car owned by legend D.K. Ulrich, Bethea qualified his car 39th in the forty-car field. Bethea was only able to complete 251 of the 400 laps before his engine blew and Bethea finished 33rd.
