Purolator is a filtration company based in Rahway, New Jersey. While a NASCAR car sponsor for decades, they had their most success as sponsor of the Wood Brothers Racing "Purolator Mercury" driven by A.J. Foyt, Donnie Allison, David Pearson and Neil Bonnett. Foyt and Pearson would both win the Daytona 500 during their tenures there, and in the 1990 Daytona 500, driver Derrike Cope would win the 500 in a Purolator sponsored Chevrolet Lumina.
