Mike Porter is a former NASCAR driver from Princeton, WV. He competed in eighty-eight Nationwide Series events in his career, spanning from 1982-1992. Porter did not win any races, but did record twenty-top tens, bested by a third at Martinsville in 1986. Porter, though, is in the history books for winning the first ever Busch Series Busch Pole. He started the 1982 race at Daytona in first place en route to career best 13th place in points that year.
