Rossi's debut came in 1955, when he competed at Langhorne. Starting 21st in the large field of forty-two, Rossi left quite an impression early by completing most of the laps and driving his way to a 9th place finish.
Rossi tried to match his Langhorne success in his lone 1956 start, but this time struggled. Starting 24th in the field of forty-four, Rossi lost a rear end gear a third of the race in and finished 31st.
Rossi's final two races came in 1958, when he started off Trenton. Starting 11th in the field of thirty-four, Rossi completed all but fifty-one laps in route to a 17th place finish. He was unable to run better at New Oxford, breaking a wheel to finish 25th.
