Joey Arrington (July 25, 1956 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Rocky Mount, VA. He competed in nine Sprint Cup Series events in his career, driving for his father's team.
Arrington's debut came in 1974, when he competed at Richmond. It was a tough race for the driver, starting 25th and breaking an axle on the first lap to finish last (27th). He fared much better at North Wilkesboro, picking up a 12th placae finish that would prove to be his career best.
Arrington also ran a two-race schedule in 1975, competing at Martinsville and Dover. Overheating issues very early in both events took Arrington out, leaving him 27th at Martinsville and 32nd at Dover.
Arrington's busiest year was the 1978 season, when Arrington finished a career-high 60th in points. The results, though, were mixed as Arrington only cracked the top-ten just once: a 19th at Richmond. But Arrington still ran respectably at Michigan and was hampered by a mechanical issue at Dover (31st).
Arrington then returned to action in early 1979, competing at Dover yet again. Starting 29th in the field of thirty-one, Arrington quit the event just forty-two laps in and finished 26th.
Arrington's final career race came in 1980, when he returned to hometrack at Richmond. It was a nice race, starting 27th and finishing 13th by completing most of the event.
