Joe Bill Adams is a former NASCAR driver from Mt. Airy, NC. He competed in two Sprint Cup Series events in his career.
Both came in 1965, when Adams drove for Fred Goad for two races. In his debut at Bristol, Adams qualified 20th in the field. Clutch problems quickly sidelined him, and he would come home 32nd. Luckily, better results would greet Adams after a 23rd qualifying effort at Hickory. Despite being nineteen laps down, Adams finished 9th in the event. Oddly, he has not raced since. Stats
