Clay Brown is a former NASCAR driver from Pensacola, FL. He was a part-time fixture in the sport in the mid-1990s.
Brown made his debut in a one-race deal in 1992. Brown drove a family owned team into the field with a 27th place starting effort at Myrtle Beach. Despite falling out with crash damage, Brown did manage to finish 22nd.
Brown returned to the series for four races in 1993. It was a fairly decent season, as Brown managed a best finish of 21st at Martinsville. He also had finishes of 28th and 29th before a dismal last place (42nd) finish at Rockingham. His 59th place finish in points would prove to be his best.
Despite stepping it up to five races in 1994, Brown had a dismal season, not finishing any races. His best finish of the year proved to be a 28th at Rockingham, where he fell out of the race with an engine problem. Brown did get a one-race deal with the famed Day Racing Enterprises car at Bristol, but crashed out of the event to a 30th place finish.
Brown just reappeared for a one-race deal in 2003, driving a second Xpress Motorsports truck at South Boston. Brown did well with the solid oppurtunity, qualifying 22nd. He would finish the race two laps down, but in the 17th position.
