Buzzie Bezanson, from Plaistow, NH, is a former NASCAR driver. Despite being a regular in the Busch North Series (now known as the Camping World East Series), Bezanson competed in two Nationwide Series events in his career.
The first came in 1986, when Bezanson debuted at Oxford Plains. Bezanson surprised everyone by putting his #66 Pontiac into the show in 5th position, an amazing feat for a person trying to make their series debut. However, rear end problems would eventually force him to 29th.
Bezanson once again qualified in the top-10 in his Oxford race in 1987. He started the event in 8th position, but once again it did not translate to a good finish. An engine failure left Bezanson to 37th position. He only competed in Busch North events after that.
