Race Notes & Info Edit
It didn't even take a lap for a while until Bill Lester and Almirola crashed into the wall. More contact on the restart brought Sprague to pit lane to remove the bumper cover. Mike Skinner regrabbed the lead during this green flag run. Skinner had lost the lead to Johnny Benson, Jr on lap one. Benson then took the lead after three more laps. Clint Bowyer emerges and takes the lead on lap 38.
The caution comes back out on lap 50 due to debris on the track. Benson took the lead through the cycle of pit stops. Bowyer, Benson's main competitor at the point, loses ignition on lap 61 and falls out of the event later on. Mark Martin spinned four laps later bringing out the caution.
Mike Bliss pits again on the restart with a loose wheel problem. The restart is quickly ended with a lap 70 crash mainly involving Bobby East. THEN, Boston Reid crashed on the subsequent restart. Erin Crocker drops out of the race due to damage as well. It wasn't over yet. Ted Musgrave got turned shortly after the restart. Musgrave, furious, does some retalitory actions later and is parked. Benson still leads during this period. Bobby Hamilton, Jr deals with battery troubles during this portion of the race as well.
Caution avoided the field until lap 132 when debris was reported. Kyle Busch takes the lead before the caution and retained it until the caution on lap 158 for J.C. Stout's issue. Benson reclaims the lead. The caution came out soon for Mike Bliss' crash on lap 167. Bowyer was still running on lap 174 when that restart crash caused another caution. From there, though, Johnny Benson held off Mike Skinner on the 26-lap finish.
