The 2005 Hershey's Take 5 300 was a Busch Series event held at Daytona International Speedway on February 19, 2005. Tony Stewart won under caution. Kevin Harvick was runner up. The pole was won by Joe Nemecheck and Kyle Busch started second. Tony Stewart was the points leader after this race and it would be the only race that he had the points lead. This race was also the only race Tony Stewart would win in the 2005 Busch Series season.
Tony and DaytonaEdit
If Dale Earnhardt was the champion of Daytona in his day, than Tony Stewart is the champion of Daytona today. This race was the start of Tony's reign in Daytona in the Nationwide Series. In all he has won 7 races at Daytona International Speedway in a Nationwide Series car. That is not including his 3 other wins at Daytona in a Sprint Cup Series car. But, despite his overwhelming success at the track he still hasn't won the Daytona 500.
