The 1999 MBNA Gold 200 was a Busch Series event held at Dover on September 25, 1999. Casey Atwood held off Randy LaJoie for the second win of his series career. The race has controversy implications for the points lead as Matt Kenseth and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. crashed past the halfway point battling for fourth. Kenseth believed it was intentional.
