The 1996 Goodwrench Service 200 was a Busch Series event held at Rockingham on February 24, 1996. Mark Martin won from the pole, holding off Mike McLaughlin in a dominating victory. Martin, despite not being a series regular held a 52-point championship lead on Bobby Labonte (5th).


Martin had gone on earlier in the race weekend to take the pole for the race, turning in a lap time of 150.952 mph. David Green started on the outside pole, while Daytona winner and points leader Steve Grissom would struggle to 28th in the session.
