  • Phil Parsons had an impressive debut in his first outing with the #64 Food City team. He started 26th and finished 9th.
  • Mark Martin led the most laps of any driver in this race. When the race ended under caution, Martin though the race had ended and entered pit road with one lap to go. This goof allowed David Green to win his only race of the 1994 season, when he won the championship.
