The 1990 Carolina Pride / Budweiser 200 was a Busch Series event held at Myrtle Beach Speedway on June 30, 1990. Tommy Ellis dominated the entire event, leading all but one lap. However, the one lap he did not lead was the last lap as Ellis slipped to seventh and Mark Martin came through for the victory. Chuck Bown finished 9th to Bobby Labonte's 10th and enjoyed a 130-point lead in the championship battle.


Tommy Ellis won his second pole of the 1990 season, pacing the track at 97.375 mph. Points leader Chuck Bown started on the outside pole and race winner Mark Martin qualified 19th.
