1986 Food Giant 300

The 1986 Food Giant 300 was a Busch Series event held at Road Atlanta Speedway on July 6, 1986. It was the series' first event on a road course. Darrell Waltrip won his fourth and final event of the season, holding off Terry Labonte. A poor 19th place showing by Jack Ingram allowed Larry Pearson (7th) to cut Ingram's point lead down to 259 markers. Stats
