The 1984 Cardinal 250 was a Busch Series event that occured at Martinsville Speedway on October 28, 1984. It was the season finale. Morgan Shepherd won his third and final race of the year, holding off Elton Sawyer. Sam Ard, the 1984 champion, was still in the hospital due to critical injuries received the race before, but still won the championship by 426 markers over Jack Ingram.
