The 1957-36 was a Sprint Cup (then Grand National) - Pacific Coast Late Model Series (now Camping World West Series) combination event that occured at Kitsup County Airport on August 4, 1957. Parnelli Jones won his first career event, holding off eventual PCLMS season champ Lloyd Dane for the win. It was also the only event at the track, and because of this none of the GN championship leaders attended.
- Norman McGriff made his final career event, finishing last after a transmission issue. Bill Hidden made his final career start, coming home 12th. And lastly, Bud Emra made his final career start, coming home with his third career top-ten finish.
- The fourteen-car field was the smallest field of the year.
Since points are unknown following the race, these are the year end points positions and where those drivers finished. Oddly enough, none of the top-ten ran in the race. (DNR)
